We have finally moved and I love our new house, there is still so much to do, sometimes I’m not sure where to start. We have been in the house for a little over a week now and we have most of the fans hung up and blinds done. The one thing I have not had time to do is unpack all my art supplies, which I hope to do today. One of the upgrades we decided to do for the house was an extended patio, I absolutly love it. Even though I am looking at the back of someone elses house and at the moment men stacking cinder block to start building another house, I have a nice place where I am not confined by walls. We are surrounded by cow fields and old St. Cloud and it is a welcomed change from what us here in Florida would call the city. Everyone has adjusted well and the kids love thier new school, I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Once I have my sketchbooks unpacked I will be going back to my traditional way of creating. I have inks that I purchased before the move that I wasn’t able to use before they were packed. There is one more piece of digital work I did on my tablet before the move:
As much as I liked drawing on my tablet it just didn’t give me that satisfaction the way that traditional art does. I can’t wait to get started again.
